Instead, it uses software bots powered by artificial intelligence (AI), machine learning (ML), and optical character recognition (OCR), enabling them to handle tasks like data extraction, analysis, and transfer across systems with minimal human involvement.

The evolution of AI and machine learning has significantly boosted the functionality of RPA, enabling bots to learn and improve their tasks over time.
